Platinum Agribusiness Ltd (PA) is a poultry farm that was established in 2018 to rear chicken layers for commercial egg production. PA founders strategically chose to enter into commercial egg production after recognizing the positive trends and growing demand for poultry products in the Rwandan market. Importantly, egg production has both potential commercial and social benefits for the community. Since PA opened its operations in 2018 with a modest flock of 5,000 chickens, the farm has steadily grown its flock to 40,000 birds within six years and is in the process to expand to 50,000 by the end of 2025.PA farm is situated in Gasenga II Village, Nyamata cell, and Nyamata sector, Busgesera district in Eastern Province about 45 minutes’ drive from Kigali City.
